The only option I have is for 60hz. This is the 3d model. Shouldn't I be allowed to set it to 120hz for 2d performance?

    right click on desktop.........choose screen resolution.........choose advanced settings.......choose screen...........set 120HZ (i use that in BF3 ( without 3D)....better image quality :)

    in BF3 you can choose 60, 100 or 120HZ........... (i have 120HZ, 1920x1080)

KSMB, I do that and the only option I have is 60HZ.

Monitor is set to "Generic PnP Monitor". It is using the HD 4000 video card and not the nvidia 650.

I was wondering if you get the option to select 120HZ? Why do I not get that option?

Is my monitor even a 3d monitor? Does not look glossy like the true life 3d that I should have.

Thanks, any help will be greatly appreciated.

Edit: a couple of other things I noticed. My screen looks matte, can't make out anything from reflection when monitor is off.

I also do not have the 3d glasses emitter next to the camera. I only have the camera on top of the monitor.

Do you think I do not have the proper 3d monitor?

You most likely don't have a 3d screen.

To make sure, check your hardware and software manager. No entries with stereoscopic in their names= no 3d

Yes I have no 3d Emitter. The screen does not appear to be glossy. I can not make out anything from the reflection. If I hold up three fingers right in front of the monitor I will not be able to see my fingers.
I can only set the refresh rat to 60HZ, I see no option to change it to 120HZ.

Are you able to easily change the refresh rate to 120HZ in screen resolution, and use 120HZ even with the Intel HD 4000 graphics? Or did you have to modify something to be able to do this?

Under Nvidia control panel I only have the following settings
    3d Settings
    Video,

on my desktop which has gtx580, I have stereoscopic 3d. But wouldn't that be dependant on the video card?

I bought one that suppose to have 3D with Trulife. It does not have the options that you have (No Stereoscope, only 60hz).
Does that mean mines doesn't have 3D with Trulife? Is there any noticeable differences between the Matte one and 3D with Trulife one?
