    how does does Dell EPP work?

    Is it available for everyone? The website said its a member purchase program but i thought EPP stands for employee purchase program. I saw a lot posts mentioned EPP purchase with a lot of discounts, can I take advantage of that? I did a custom build laptop and was able to get extra 12% off, is that really valid? Plz help.

    To get that benefit you have to be a student at a school that get their computer from dell. Or work at a company which have a contract with dell. There is a web site you can go to sign up for it, afterward they will send u another coupon to save another 10% on top of that 12%. go here to get the coupon https://holidaycoupon.dellsavings.com/

    I was wondering too.

    It appears to be a discount for anyone who works for a company (or school) who purchase Dell computers.

    How do you know your company is participating? The discount is applied automatically if you purchase from the dell epp site but then at checkout you have to enter your company name. I did this and it didnt delete this discount - I assume does this mean its valid? Is there any way you can find out if your company participates?

    Also not sure if this is just UK but can it be used with the Quidoco discount?

    You will need to check with your company to see if they participate. If you are a student, go to http://www.dellunleashed.com to see if your school participates.

    Yep, I believe they will ask you to sign up with a school email addy and once it's confirmed, they send you a link at which time you can make a purchase from the EPP site.

    Crap lol. I'm quite sure the company I work for - Ultra Electronics have a dell scheme up and running but I never thought about it. I got my M1530 at the start of the year too here in the Uk lol.

    It dosen't aplly to the 1530. Only the 1330, inspiron 1420,1520,1720 and I think the XPS one and XPS 420.
