    Helpful and courteous.

It can be a little frustrating at times, but if you are respectful and courteous to them your problem will probably be resolved in a reasonable matter of time.

Extremly unhelpful. I just received a laptop and have been charged for 2 laptops, one that i recieved and one order that i cancelled. When i called them up to get the money refunded all i got told is that "we have no record of your cancelled order so we cant refund the money"

Now i dont know what to do.

Call your bank, explain the situation and make sure it does not honor two purchases. Then call Dell and insist on speaking to a supervisor or manager - calmly and politely - explain what has happened with emphasis on the fact that you cancelled one order (have handy dates, times and any other pertinent info), and ask for his assistance in rectifying the situation.

well i dont know about other ppl... but i think they are quite gud... i have takenb the complete cover warranty... i have got my palm rest changed twice and motherboard once... when i have the slightest issue i get the part changed... and it takes them just 48 hrs to send and change the part... very courteous... justified answers... cant expect them to know everything... 8/10 rating from me... and the dell engineers that come to service the laptop are very polite and courteous.

hey manzi... ask them if they have any record of delivering the laptop... some kind of service tag or delivery report signed... if they cant produce the same then u can talk to your bank.

Thx for the help guys. I basically deleted all the info regarding the order that I cancelled 1 month ago thinking it was all taken care off. I didnt even have the reps name that i ordered it from. Then just 2 hours ago i found this dell reps email address and remembered that I had ordered a laptop from him a while ago that was around that price (I have ordered and cancelled 4 laptops). So I emailed the Dell rep explaining to him that I need any info regarding the cancelled order and told him at what date I was charged for it and how much it was by looking at my bank statement.

Luckily he still had me order number and confirmed that the order was for £519.12 (the same price as the laptop im being charged for that i cancelled). So tommorow ill call up Dell, give them my Order Number and hope they refund my money. Im even having to PAY INTEREST on the money they want!

Dell has been good with me but if you want to cancel a order make sure they moeny is refunded fully and keep details of all your orders.

Theyre just about always helpfull...you just have to state your issue rather clearly. Ive had some great experiences with customer support. Im actually going through another one at the moment. And theyre dealing with this issue really well too.
