    how long does it take for a dell outlet notebook to be delivered?

    i just ordered a dell xps m1530 monday and i'm hoping it i would get it by friday. but i got a confirmation email that says it would be delivered between March 18-20. does it take that long for an already built laptop to be shipped? i really need it before spring break.

    i ordered a m1330 from the dell outlet last thursday and it shipped the very next day. and my estimated shipping date was about the same as yours. It should be here tomorrow or thursday!!

    i live in Maryland, USA and the delivery date just changed to March 14-18. i hope it gets changed again=) hope i get it soon...

    Not all outlet machines are customer rejects. My M70 was a refurb and the only problem with it is the processor makes a high pitched buzz when idling. Oh, and it shipped out of Round Rock, TX, although that was almost 2 years ago..

    True, but they may be the 'older line' w/o the bugs/defects worked out.

    I got a M1330 outlet with the piece of sh!t CMO screen and after a tech replaced the screen (with another CMO.. lol) I just returned the POS to dell.
