    just incase vista doesnt cut it for you? is there a way to have customer support send it for free?

    Probably not - they're still subject the same licensing concerns that govern Windows products and owning Vista doesn't grant you access to XP. Also, some of their newer laptops don't have XP as an option, so you're on your own there.

    If you are getting Vista, you will not be getting XP. I don't see why you wouldn't like Vista, but if it doesn't cut it for you, you'll have to buy XP somewhere else.

    I was worried about the switch to Vista, as well, but within a few hours, I pretty much forgot about it.
