SSIA Im am in the middle of the process right now...I added 1 gig on RAM and got a new 160 GB HD for my laptop...put them both in and turned on hoping to hit the boot menu and boot from disk...guess it makes sense that the bar at the bottom didn't go all the way across, but now what??

    I have a Dell Inspiron 5150.

I am just trying to reinstall windows.

    Any help would be great!

    Thanks mike

Obvious, but did you try removing the new RAM to see if it boots?
