    HI,
I want to remove dell media direct since its not of much use - takes up unnecessary space and without even being able to read my music files from my music folder. So I want to remove the hidden partition but I am not able to.
I used the hitachi ftool to resize the disk space to the full 60.1GB. I have only dell utility (40mb) and xp partition (55gb). The remaining space i suspect is the dell hpa.
Partition magic cant see this partition. even tools like gparted/qtparted cant see it when i boot with the rescue CD. So any ideas how i can go about deleting this and reclaiming the space?
    thanks.
