although this may be the wrong place to ask this, please re-direct me to finding an answer. I am only asking here because of the quality of responses you guys have given me for my dell. Anyways, 2 hrs into my college experience..i randomly find the "f10" button off its position. I am able to totally separate the key from the keyboard, and have tried reading elsewhere about hooking up the latches a certain way....but to no success..do you guys have any experience/tips for this? thanks agian..

Is the little rubber piece still attached to the keyboard?

yeah the green bubble thing was still onthe board. It was wierd at first because i dont really use f10 and it randomly became loose..which worried me that it might happen again. But after fiddling for a little i found out exactly what i needed to do online and by trial, and to my surprise heard the clicks another website said was needed to ensure it was in tightly.

sometimes your fingernail can get under those keys without you realizing it and pop it up, so even if you don't use the key it's still "at risk" for coming off. Just keep an eye on things and keep those nails trimmed ;)
