    i am new to this forum,i purchased a dell 6400 with this specification,i am doing interior designs and cad works, i am using chief architect for my jobs i need is this lappy config is enough for mu works,plz guide me with this one also tell me what can i change in this specification

    Comparing the cost with what you got, you have a good deal.

    According to http://usa.autodesk.com/adsk/servlet/index?siteID=123112&id=8446045

    You are meet the requirements for what you are doing. But you are short of meeting the requirements for 3D modeling 3.0 GHz recommended vs 2.0 GHz on your system. 2gb Ram Minnimum (knowing Vista is a memory hog)

    Don't forget you will need to add the cost of the CAD program to the cost.

    Also a WACOM 6x8 Tablet would be nice too.
