    i got the studio 17 with two harddrives

    i was wondering how i can install xp on one harddrive and vista on the other. any help will be apperciated

    theoretically yes - although when I tried to load the 32bit XP install disc (with SP3 slipstreamed)... but it blue screened almost right away. I Imagine that it is due to a driver/hardware issue...

    anyone else experience this with XP?

    I was able to put a copy of OSX on a parition without any major issues (aside from wifi & sound not working). I have several mac's in the house so I thought it would be fun to try.

    I was also able to install ubuntu linux on without any issues....

    You likely either need to switch the drive controller to ATA mode or slipstream the Intel storage drivers in.
