    i gotta problem

    i ordered my system on the 24th on July(SXPS16). The EDD was August 10th. today i checked and it was still in production so i called dell up and they said another 3 days for production + 5 for shipping. the problem is i am leaving town on the 17th for three weeks. if the laptop comes after the 17th will the shipping company hold it for three weeks? and also would my 21 days return period expire after i come back?

    and im pretty sure that ive seen people order their systems after me and have already received them, so i dont know whats going on.

    what should i do?

    So I called again and they said that it has shipped out of Austin, Texas, but that i wouldn't get a tracking number until it reaches Canada. Ive never heard of that before.

    If it has already shipped you should most definitely get it before the 17th.

    just spoke to customer care and they say it HASNT shipped yet. this is so weird. the guy said it would ship on monday and arrive in 5 days. man is dell lost.
