Did you use the 35% business code offer? If not, it would have bought the cost down to $1432 + your tax.

I would cancel your order if i was you. I realized i could return my I9200 under the 21 day return policy because i felt screwed over by Dell and i ended up ordering a I9300 with the I9200 going back to them. I got one configured for $1886.34.
P-m 1.86hhz 553mhz FSB
1GB 533mhz DDR2 ram(saved 50 dollars)
17 inch UXGA+ screen with True Life
256mb GeForce 6800
60gb 7200 rpm drive
24x Cd Burner/DVD player(FREE upgrade!)
Intel Pro Wireless A/B/G(FREE upgrade!)
Windows XP Pro with SP2
1 year mail-in tech support
However this deal ends today! Buy it through their small business website, use the 35% off coupon and you could my configured system with the added DVD burner, +200 dollars, the 80gb hard drive will save you about 20-30 over the 7200 drive. With your additional battery and DVD burner, if you left it configured how i did would run you about 2200-2300. Not a bad deal! Drop the ram to 512 and you would save 200 dollars. The prices on the small business website are more expensive but that 35% off coupon is insane deal plus free 3-5 day shipping.

Good stuff man! If you do a lot of video editing and watching DVD's i would recommend 1GB ram, its up too you though. Your system should do great for your needs, just know the portability isn't the greatest. I have a I9200 im returning for my I9300 and it is a big notebook. 15.5inchs long by 12inchs wide by 1.5inchs thick. Weight is about 8lbs. It can be bulky at times but i dont do a lot of travel. Since you travel a alot just take note of this! Its hard since the 17inch display is so nice.
