it looks so clear...i love how it looks..softer on the eyes and less ittiritating than glossy..
glossy may look cooler but i much rather stare at the anti glare screen.. its just like my desktop screen..i love it. no graininess either.

yeah... i know what you're saying... cool...

Take a look at any glossy screen photographed in daylight. You can see everything reflected in the background. Glossy truelife screens are just a poor answer to poor/cheap backlight brightness... hopefully LED screens are the answer.

Yeah, I kind of wish Dell would offer some other resolution options for the antiglare screens. I've been looking at the Inspiron 1520, XPSM1330 and the MBP, and at least from looking at the MBP's (my local Dell Kiosk doesn't have any of the new machines on display yet), I do think I prefer the matte screens to the glossy, for exactly the reason you stated.
I think glossy used to be more important because matte screens tended to look a lot more "washed out" and "faded", but between what I've seen of the LED-backlit MBP matte screens, and what you said about the antiglare screens on the current Dells, I don't think this is nearly as much of an issue as it used to be. -
