    i want to run my FAN all the time!!

    I can I make my Fan on my E1705 7800 GO XG fans run all the time to keep my temp down?

    yes...Through your overclock settings Nvidia control panel just set it to "Fan Always On".

    In the tray icon right click, display, laptop display, on the left you should see Overclock Settings and you will find the option there.

    yea it is clicked but its always not on. Goes on when get about to 81 82 degrees then cools down to about 69 or 70.

    Unfortunately, that fan control button is not tied to the fan in the laptop - at least it doesn't work on mine or my dad's e1705 either. Use the newest version of i8kfangui. This program will allow you to manually control your CPU and GPU fan speeds. You can set up profiles that will also launch desired fan speeds depending on programs you are running as well...

    Good news!!

    I8KFanGUI has just been released at Beta that now has support for dual cores. I am running my fans on slow on my e1705 and my temp is now stable at 59 degrees! :)

    It's working great, although I can't check my GPU temps within the program itself, but that's not a huge deal to me.
