    I have a Studio 1747 barebone(Came with i7 720QM originally) and would love to know if it'll work with an i5 cpu. Thx guys.

    I see no reason why it shouldn't. Does your Studio 1747 offer the ATi graphics?

    Yep. All 1747 are configured with the 4650 by default, IIRC.
