My new Inspiron 6000 arrived last week. Love it! The green WiFI indicator light just above the keyboard was coming on while using a wifi connection and now all of a sudden it is off but I am still using the same WiFi connection. What happened to my lil lite?

mine does that every now and then...try using FN+f2 to turn off your wifi and back on. If that doesn't work, reboot. I haven't figured out exactly why it does, but I've noticed that when I've been online for several hours, it has a tendency to go out. My wifi never goes off when this happens.

I really don't worry about it. It is just a indicator to say that it is on, but I use Intel ProSet Wireless or XP's indicator to tell me if i'm actually connected or not.
