They're not offering 60gb 7200rpm for the i6000d anymore for some odd reason. Sales rep wouldnt tell me if they are going to be putting it back either. So I canceled my order, so bummed. Anyone know the reason for this? Or if they might put it back anytime soon?

It's weird though, they have them still for 9300, XPS2, and even 8600... they might be different models though? I have been debating on buying a laptop for a while. I finaly had found one I really liked, and had nice specs for a good price. But they unlisted that hard drive, talk about timing...

the only reason they would have pulled it is due to supply issues, they can't put a drive in they don't have enough of. i suppose you can wait and see if it comes back or just buy the notebook with the hard drive available and then upgrade it later...expensive route i know.

didn't they used to offer higher processors for the I6000 too? I swore you could have configured them with up to a 2.0 but maybe im wrong.

Are you serious? So the sales rep I had was a #$#@@#@? I guess I will give them a call tommorow. Thanks for informing me on that Jimmy.

I had to order it on the phone today. The 7200rpm HD wasn't on the website. The sales rep took off another $35 (for my troubles).

Lol, that first sales rep was an idiot. Just called today and they have the 7200rpm avaiable. Paid $169 extra for it, but downgraded the speed of the processor to 1.8ghz instead of 2.0, so it works out, I guess.

Im gonna be doing a lot of photoshop editing and web site design work on it, so the drive would make quite a difference. Good times.
