Hi, this is my first post here. I've been following these forums for awhile looking for a new notebook purchase for school. I decided on the 8600 with a 1.6a GHz Pentium M. It was labeled as 725 and from what I read I figured it as part of the Dothan line of chips. But, just now when I ran SpeedswitchXP and checked the system settings, its labeled as a Banias processor. Was there a mistake on Dells behave or the Speedswich program? Is there a way I can check the brand of the processor through windows XP? Thanks for any help =o)
