I have a i8600 (PentM 1.6, Radeon 9600 pro turbo, 2Gb, 60gb/7200rpm), but since my re-install of WinXP, I can't seem to find the right combination of drivers to play World of Warcraft without 3D problems (only lots of nasty looking artifacts). I've tried omega drivers and 3 or 4 dell driver sets. My GPU seems to run at 100 degC, and I was considering the cooling upgrade described at http://www.bay-wolf.com/8500videoheat.htm.

With the standard disclaimers about voiding warranties and knowing what you are doing, has anyone tried this and did it help? or is there a better solution?

    Thanks in advance,
