I just installed my geforce go 7900gs into my e1705. i8kfangui ver. 3 beta 5 is not reading the gpu temperatures. Is something wrong? Is the program supposed to measure the GPU core temperatures by default or do you have to turn it on. It's only reading the cpu core temperature which is about at 44 C and peaks at abut 53 C. Are those temps alright? Do I need to offset these temperatures for this version of i8kfangui?

    Thanks!

Your cpu temps sound about right, and to turn on monitoring for GPU you will need to go into options. Click the Status reading tab and you will find a box to check off that says read GPU temperature.

Are the GPU temperatures incorrect? Do I need to lower them by 8 degrees C? Right now my GPU temp is almost 60 C(with the -8 C offset) and no fans have kicked in. Is something wrong?
