Anyone know what the correct i8kfangui offsets are for an M1330 with a Penryn T9300 processor.

I've read several threads that say you should add 8 degrees C to the GPU temperature. But they mostly seemed to be talking about older Inspirons, like the E1505 and E1705.

This OP in this thread says to add 3C to the GPU temperature and 2C to the chipset temperatures for an M1330, but he had a T7500, not a Penryn.

But I tried downloading NHC and it has reported between 5 and 9 degrees C higher than i8kfangui for the CPU temperature.

Which temperature monitoring programs are accurate with Penryn processors? Are the hard drive temperatures and memory temperatures accurate?

What I'd do is download Core Temp, HWMonitor, and Speedfan. If they all report the same core temperatures, then set i8kfanGUI accordingly. I think HWMonitor and Speedfan will give you your chipset and GPU temps as well, so you can compare that with i8kfangui.

I'll try some of those. I'm not too clear on why they don't all show the same temperature. Wouldn't they all be measuring from the same probes?
