I just recently got my i9300 with the 6800 video card. Has anyone ever tried hooking their computer to an HDTV. I have a JVC 56" HDTV and I would like to output my computer to it. The TV has a DVI connector like the one on the back of the computer but the manual says it is not compatible with computer DVI. Is there a converter cable out there that will convert to component video (RGB) connections? Anyone got any suggestions

I have the 9300 6800go with a sony GWII HDTV with DVI and it works fine. Getting a good workable resolution is quite a bit of work, but I'd try it or search over at www.avsforum.com to see if anyone else has been successful with DVI on your specific JVC.
