    i9300, can I upgrade my cdrw to a DVD/RW?

    Can someone please help me answer this question? I would like to upgrade mny CD/RW to a DVD/RW.

    You should be able to but just in case place a call to Dell to verify. If they have the part they will sell it to you but you might find cheaper ones online.

    As Zicky said, you can upgrade to a dvd/rw. If you buy it from dell, you'll get a 90 day warranty on the drive and it will not be covered by your orginial warranty. You might try looking at eBay or other vendors online to see if you can find one at a cheaper price, Just make sure to get one that is compatible with the 9300.

    I prefer NEC and haven't had any troubles, but I can't speak for everyone.
