I played around with my new i9300 for a few days now, becoming acclimatized to it. I set up a wireless home network and everything seems to be working fine. But it's XP Home and I want to set up a dual boot system with XP Pro/Unix. Unfortunately, my version of XP Pro is older than the existed OS so I have no choice but to format.
I ran Belarc Advisor and downloaded all the requisite drivers as well as the user and service manuals. I'm a bit disturbed by reading Dell's driver for the Ge6800 Go doesn't seem to work but I downloaded another driver that supposedly does the job.
Since I just got it, there's nothing valuable on it so I'm not worried about losing data. If this attempt fails, I can always use System Restore.
Any last piece of advice?

sounds like you're ready to rock
the only driver you really need is the nic or wifi driver, once you have that you can dl the rest afterwards
no worries, just do it -
