    I am confused

There are some great bargains for Dells notebooks on E-bay with sellers with great approval records selling NEW shipped from Dell i9400/E1705's.

But they list the HD as Ultra ATAs vs SATA that the Dell site shows (both showing 100mb 7200RPM's).

SATA is a much faster specification I understand than Ultra ATA. So I wonder if they are selling inferior Ultra ATAs. Yet all the other specs shown are exactly the same for other options as direct from Dell.

I am asking them also, but wonder if anyone has any experience with getting Ultra ATA drives vs SATA.

oops just found answer and don't see how to delete this message.

The Ultra ATA reference was in error the seller tells me it is SATA and has now changed it.
