    if a dell ships friday at 11:00 am with next day shipping, when will I get it?

    if a dell ships friday at 11:00 am with next day shipping, when will I get it?
    Mine just shipped.
    I expect that it'll be here monday.

    I just spoke with CSR and she said that since my shipment is with DHL mine will be delivered on monday. However, if Fedex is your carrier, they will deliver to you by Saturday.

    Did they just give me ground because its a weekend and it'll do the job of next day shipping w/o the added expense?

    The thing is, I believed what the CSR told me then, but you never know what to expect with dell. They may deliver it ground shipping, in which case I will argue till I get compensated for inconvenience.!

    My DHL ground shipment came the Next Day so you'll get it monday you'll be fine...my est del date from DHL was monday by the way and it came TODAY!!!!!

    Just an update...

    I called Purolator and my laptop is set to arrive Monday between 9-12 AM. So no birthday present today. But it's still much better than having it ship on Aug 27 like the Dell CSR told me it would!

    lol, I didn't see his post date! Thanks for the clarification though! Jdban, where is your shipment? Mines at the Fresno Hub at the moment. I would've gone and picked up if it was at most 1hour away but it's a 2hour drive and no way I'm using that much gas money. Plus I'd have to pay another $15 to pick it up at the hub. Oh well, I guess I'd have to wait till monday which sucks because I loose all the weekend to play with it. :(
