your order unless you call them .... i recieved no emails or phone calls... ny date just went from the 7th to the freakin 14th even though its been boxing for 2 days now, i am so pissed right now
-
they will auto cancel it if they do not hear from you and after that you can just authorize the rest of the delays by loggin into the account.
-
i logged in to my account and dont see anywhere to "authorize" any delays??? where would i find it....
-
i have received no emails about the delay, no calls, nothing,
when i go to my "order status" page and click on that and bring up the long (lol) list that order still says sept 7th.... if i go to the show orders section... and pull it up that way thats where it says sept 14th??? i dont want this order cancelled omg i would flip out on dell...wonder if i should call anyway??? -
If it is in boxing already, it will probably ship sooner than the 14th anyways.
Call Dell can get them to compensate you for your trouble. -
I asked my Dell Rep (whom I completed the transaction with) and she will not give me my ESD in writing.
She keeps on saying "Sir, I cannot give you that"...and I was like thinking "wtf?".
I just told them that if it arrives past the date that she keeps promising, consider the order cancelled, returned and refund requested immediately. -
This falls under the federal mail order rule.
Dell can delay you the first time and still keep on making your laptop.
If they delay you a second time then by law, they have to have your permission to continue to process your order.
In other words if they don't hear back from you they will cancel your order. You should receive email notifications for both. -
Why would they cancel? They'll lose money.
-
laws... if they dont notify you of the changes and dont get your consent they have to cancel your order on you and dont even really have to tell you they did so
-
Too bad we don't have that law in Canada.
if dell changes your esd and does not call to tell you do they cancel
