if good deal comes within 30 days of purchase

If I buy laptop now and 25 days later there dell comes out with some awesome(hypothetically!) deal then can I return the laptop and after a day buy the new one.

On same story. Is it true that if one buys laptop through Costco then one can return it within 6 month time. Suppose I buy a dell laptop now from costco and reformat it and use it. After 5 months I see that dell is shipping new laptops with Santa rosa platform and other goodies, so I return the current laptop (plus whatever software CD's were included in original package) to costco. And then buy a new laptop directly from dell.ca. I noticed that the dell laptops at costco.ca sites are priced way high (about $350-400 higher than dell.ca), but this should not affect me as long as I am able to return the laptop in say 5 month time. Any gotchas?

 

I would question how ethical those practises are. They just don't seem right to me, even though technically and by the book you are probably correct. Maybe it's just me.

 

1) The return period is 21 days.
2) You have to pay a 15% restocking fee if you return it without problems (they will check).
3) Dell has a price matching policy...call them.
4) Be thankful for the deal you got .
