    Hi guys, I made an impulse buy and want to know if i got a deal or was ripped I bought a new

    Dell ispiron 9400
    2gig 667
    core2centrino 1.87
    7900gs nvida
    160gig hdd
    duel layer burner
    5-1 media card reader
    17'' screen
    wireless
    10/100
    56k mdoem
    vista home

    How much is all that worth? I wont tell you what I paid just yet. I cant find anywhere that sells that model with those specs though.

    what vista home is it premium or basic? what kind of wireless?

    ps its not core2 centrino if the Fbs is 667 the centrino has 800 MHz fsb

    i think he means the ram is 667

    i think around 1100-1200.

    I'd say it's not worth more than 1300-1400, max. If it was $1000 or below, it was a deal. If it was >$1400, it was a rip off. Otherwise it was priced pretty fairly.

    Depends on the display resolution you got. I would say ~900 bux for a WXGA dusplay version and then ~1000 bux for a WUXGA.

    I bought a similar computer from Dell this past Christmas for $1380 (after tax). It had a 100GB 7200rpm HD, T7200 C2D (2.0GHz) processor and a 3 year warranty....the rest of the specs are the same.
