The remote was 20 dollars extra, but I'm sure dell would throw it in, if thats all thats keeping a purchase. I bought my 1520 with $425 dollar cooupon, and got and two more credits $100 and $50 just by asking!

Its hard to compare the two. Most people buy a 13inch laptop for different reasons they would a 15inch. A better comparison might be the 1420. If size is not a concern I would go with the 1520, especially if the specs are similar. The 15inch is still very portable, and a 500 dollar
price difference is a substantial amount of money!

It depends on the package and location. The remote may or may not be included. Anyway, you can get a refurbished one (like new) from Dell for $11 with free shipping this week. Check it out here. I just got one last week.
