    Hi all,
    I've been having problems for a long time with my wireless connections.
    I never know if it's going to work or not.
    At some coffee shops i see everyone around me able to connect but I'm not able. There are a few places where i can always connect and a few places where i can never .
    I think my wireless card is = dell wireless 1490 dual band wlan minicard .

    Can anyone help ? what should i download from the dell driver site ? i can't find anything which refers to that card specifically.

    I have an inspiron 1420 and i installed windowsXP on it .
