    Hey guys,
I am hoping someone can help me out here. I replaced the wireless card that came with my inspiron 1520 (intel pro abg) with a stock card a friend gave me out of his mini 9. I can't for the life of me find a driver that will work for this card. I have tried to install a few different drivers and got a few different error messages. I have searched for a few hours and haven't been able to find the answer on what I can do to get this card working in windows xp 32bit. The most frustrating part is I ran a linux live cd, and the card works perfect right from the livecd. I ran lspci in linux and it told me that the card is bcm4312 802.11b/g. I searched for that for the last half hour but still nothing. Hopefully someone here has some knowledge they can share with me.
    Thanks

I checked mine, which was taken off from my Mini 9 (replaced with Intel 5100AGN). The card label says BCM 94312MCG.

    Have you try this one:
    http://ftp.us.dell.com/network/R197390.EXE

Thanks for the reply, I did try that driver and got the error "no compatible hardward found. The software you are attempting to install is not supported on this system"

Have you tried to extract the file and install it directly through Device Manager?

Man, You are officially my hero! Worked perfectly, I didn't know that you could extract from an .exe, but it worked and I am online as we speak.
    Thank you very much.
