hey guys .. this is my first topic here .. i am looking forward to buy a new laptop in about a week .. and got 2 good deals .. one is inspiron 1520 Pm346
which has Core 2 due t7500
    2.2 ghz .. 4 mb cash .. 1 gega ram with a 160 GB and GMA X3100

and the other is inspiron 1525 core 2 due t7250
    2.0 ghz .. 2 mb cash .. 1 gega ram with 160 GB
    and GMA x3100

and actually both are the same price .. so i was wondering if anyone can tell me the diffrence between them .. and also i have a question is the card Intel X3100 so bad or what .. i don't play lots of games .. but sometime i play some soccer games like pro evolution or something .. and the last question here folks .. i was thinking to go for VOSTRO 1500 .. but actually i have 3 options in my mind .. hope to have some help here

it seems the the difference is within the processor included. I would go with the inspiron 1525 because it is slightly higher in terms of Ghz and Cache size. However, apart from that there is no difference. (From looking at specs) The graphics card is not up to scratch if you want to play games on it (even pro evo) Well... i suppose you might be able to play it on low res and low graphics settings. but you won't be getting anything higher than that. it's an integrated card, not dedicated. How much are you paying for it?

If you're willing to wait a few more days the Inspiron 1535 should be out, not sure what initial pricing will be though.

i am paying about 1100 us dollars .. here in egypt laptops are damn expensive .. but the spec. of 1520 is better than 1525 .. because it is higher in the cash and GHZ .. the 1520 is 2.2 ghz and 4 mb cash .. and the 1525 is 2.0 and 2 mb cash .. dude actually i am confused .. and i was thinking about the HP pavilion but i think Dell is better

i say that since you are using integrated graphics in either computer, you should take the 1525. the 1520 is a brick compared to the 1525. but if you dont care for the cosmetics...

and i don't think there is that much performance gain from using a t7500 over the t7250
