    hi all

i can see a slot in back of the battry and have simply put my sim card and also the battry there.

is that slot really for sim card ?

i want to use it as the modem so that i can connect to the internet via gprs or edge using the sim card.

how can i enable this function after putting the sim card there ?

any settings in my xp sp3 is needed or installing any programs ?

    thanks.

Nevermind, I stand corrected. I just never saw one in plain site and I've owned one for about 3 years now. Perhaps the SIM card has to do with those mobile broadband plans and it's placed there to identify your machine?
