My mom has a inspiron 2200 and i was just wondering if i could upgrade the ram and maybe even the hardrive and put a dvd burner on it.....
    the specs are.....

    windows XP
    Intel Celeron M 1.50ghz
    248mb of ram...guessing 256mb actually
i dont know what size hard drive and i dont know how to find out so that would be nice to know but i think it is a 40gb maybe 4200rpm
    and an intergrated video card

i would like to maybe put a 1gb stick in and a lil bigger faster hard drive in and a dvd burner like i already said but if someone could give me a link where i can get this that would be great
    thx
    Noah

That RAM should work and I believe you can pretty much use any IDE/ATA drive, though I wouldn't recommend buying whatever it is from Dell; their prices are not terribly exciting.
