    inspiron 5150 power and battery light flashing continious

    when plugged intocharger battery and power leds flash continuously cannot get the machine to start

    Okay have you tried:

    - Testing your AC adapter with a multimeter

    - Removing the battery and AC adapter and holding down the power button for 30 seconds

    After that you could have an issue with the power circuitry with your motherboard or it could be genuinely defective. Is it still under Dell warranty?
