Need help to get my DVD player working with my Samsung television.

Notice what's wrong with this statement? That's right, I haven't given you any information about what I've tried, what errors I'm getting, even what the DVD player is.

In short, we really need more information before we can be anything close to helpful ;)

When asking for help, you have to help us in turn by being specific. Are you trying to use a USB mouse or the computer's own trackpad?

Also, let the records show that Fragilexx is a ninja.

Holy hand grenade batman, it's the trackpad mouse; that rare and elusive creature than sometimes resembles a trackpad but for posts on the NBR forums it actually prefers to be called a mouse ;)

Which operating system are you using?
Does it work when you go into the BIOS before launching your operating system?
    Ever taken your notebook apart?
    Spill anything?

If it's not working at that fundamental level then I would suggest something has shorted out or disconnected internally.

Have you checked the device manager to see if there is a problem?
