hi, i initially have 2gb of ram and i have heard that it can go up to 4gb. so i went ahead and bought 4 gb(2 * 2gb) after i installed the ram it started acting up. it starts and after 2 second i get blue screen and some msg on it. and it reboots again. i also tried it with my old ram, 1 * 1gb and 1 * 2gb it works for a little bit and then it starts to close down applications like windows explorer and other prorams one by one and then i get the blue screen with that msg.

i have an acer laptop and i installed the two rams on it one by one and they work fine. i have also heard that i might need to uprade the bios but i dont have any idea where to get it.

    plz guys help.....
