Hi, I'm planning on adding a 60GB 7200RPM hard drive in my
Inspiron 8600's modular bay to be used for capturing and editing video. Does anyone know if the bus where the modular bay is connected has enough bandwith/throughput to edit DV video?
I think DV video's capture rate is 25mbps.

    Thanks.

If you don't have one in there already, why not put the 7200RPM in the main hard drive slot. Your laptop will be much faster. You can put the old one in an external USB case for extra storage.
