    i have ell inspiron e1705 with ati x1400 256mb ram graphic cad, but i need a better one. can you recomned me one maybe the best for this lap top that i can use

    I'm sorry but your graphics card is most likely soldered into place (unless you have an MXM port, which i do not believe that the 1705 does) and you cannot replace just the graphics card. I am sorry but to improve the graphics ability on your laptop, you will most likely need to either get a new laptop or buy a whole new motherboard.

    Not true. You can replace that card with:
    256 meg 7900gs
    512 meg 7900gtx
    512 meg 7950gtx.

    Just make sure they are from/for a DELL E1705/XPS M1710.
    The most reasonable cost wise is the GS and once overclocked will out perform the other available cards. Keep in mind that you can always OC the other cards too. :D
