strange message, but it suggests looking in the bios and see if there is an option for temp reading, doesn´t it ?

I'd suggest flashing back to the old bios.

The following is entirely my humble opinion now: a lot of people seem to flash their bios on this board just b/c there's a new one available  There's absolutely no need to upgrade a bios unless the update addresses a specific feature you need or are having trouble with (ie: trying to fix the CPU whine issue, new cpu compatibility, stability problem, etc.). When it comes to bioses, the old addage if it ain't broke, don't fix it plays true. A bad bios flash can brick your computer in an instant.
