hello there i really need your help i have downgraded my vostro from
vista 32 bit buissness to win xp pro sp2
and now i would like to go to
win xp 64bit edition
i need to get a 64bit SATA driver otherwise it just says no hard disks are found

Hmm, dell website? Intel website? Some kind of hack? Google is your friend if you want to find the hack.

Your right...they havent got the 64bit files for the Vostro but they are available elsewhere for other systems such as the M1330. You just need to find the driver that matches your hardware (ie wifi, bluetooth, etc) and use it after x64 is installed.
You need to download the AHCI driver from Intel. It is the most stable.
Expand it to a flash drive then when going through the install process you will come to a screen where you choose hich partition to install to. There will be a menu to install drivers there. Press it and direct it to your flash drive; it will find the ahci driver and u select it.
