hi, i'm wondering if anyone can help
I have a Vostro 1510 with an integrated webcam which works fine apart from when I go on windows live messenger. Occasionally it will work fine but other times, the majority of times, it will just freeze windows live, apart from microphone, to the point where i need to open the task manager (ctr Alt Dlt) and end windows live.
When I do this a message comes up saying Windows Live is not responding, would you like to end now. So I do end the program and then open and sign back into windows live.
I have tried re-installing windows live but the problem is still there.
Like I said, sometimes the webcam will work but when it doesnt, I can't type or open conversations or close conversations or anything but talk on microphone and hear the other person talking on microphone, I can't even recieve the messages sent by other people.
So I was jsut wondering if anyone else has had this problem and, if so, if you can help me please.

Try uninstalling the Webcam and reinstalling the drivers. Theres a variety of factors that may affect this such as any other processes. If you have a lot of scanning software like say Mcaffee Virus Scan, etc. You will want to stop those scans since they take up quite a bit of processing power.
