was doing some work on my M1330 and when I went on the internet I normally scroll with the scroll pad portion but it wouldn't work and the mouse seemed slow because I always have to manually change the mouse speed because windows never saves it and resets it to defualt after I save it.

Anyways, I went to the mouse on control pad to fix the issue and my dell touchpad icon dissapeared in the task bar, and the system said that it's "unable to connect to the synaptics pointing device driver" so now I have no idea what happened. And at the same time my taskbar is no longer hiding icons. Talk about strange. I don't know what to do.
