    hello,

I was waitng for new dell to get out to buy a new laptop (17") but i saw some reviews about it. And what scare me that they say the design is not very good. And that it is bulky. Seeing the pictures it is not easy to juge as they can be deceiving some time the things dont look as good as they look good in pictures.

So if anyone can help me. I want got comptur but also a good design. And also not a computer big an dheavy as Aliens . when i see HP and Asus laptops in shop they are quite slim. How is this new dell compre to them ?

    Thanks for your advises

I personally used one and is big and ugly IMO, and it also feels cheap.

Studio 17 appears much bulkier than the 15, which is pretty sexy IMO.

I think they look pretty decent. It's just the specs that are kind of meh.

yeah it is, but to be fair it's the inspiron/studio forum and the X300/305 are more directly competitive to XPS' and alienware. but it is kickass :)

they really are. the specs pale in comparison to a lot of other notebooks in its class from other manufacturers. i know dell didn't do it in the past year for the current inspirons, but can they bump up what they have to offer later on, mid cycle? or is this as good as it gets for the Studio?
