    Is the duracell ac adapter, 9cell battery and spare worth purchasing from dell? If not what other alternatives do I have?

    im pretty sure the adaptor is supposed to come with the laptop. Get the 9 cell for sure.. I think it has enough life that you wont have to worry about it.

    you have an option of upgrading the ac adapter

    i'm not sure whether i should purchase the batteries from dell or some other 3rd party site
