    sorry fo poor english...
I'm buying 1705, but i'm not sure if i should buy it right now or wait a couple of weeks. It is almost sure that current 500$ discount will last till the time of replacing old inspiron line with santarosa, which is expected in the middle of june (as somebody mentioned in other thread). Few days ago the price of 7900gs has dropped from 300$ to 200$. Maybe same will happen with processors in forthcoming weeks?
Another qestion- is the ultrabright wuxga worth taking? Apart from higheresolution does it have better colors, contrast or is it brighter then standart xga+ ?

Nobody will be able to tell you for sure if it will drop. It is very possible that it will but no one is 100% sure. We just have to wait and see

I've been waiting for several weeks scouring over coupons and slickdeals. Right now it's at it's best: $525 off Inspiron E1705: Intel Core 2 Duo Processor, 160gb hard drive, and Free Vista Home Premium OS. Only $949 (before tax, fees, shipping & handling) after coupon. Coupon Code: C?52LZZM5NRTW5 -

or the $500 off $1499. That's at best 33%. I'm willing to wait a nother week or so before I pull the trigger.

My friend, $500-550 is the best you will get at present. They have stopped giving higher discounts for sometime now. And the wait for price drop is never ending. So I say wait a week and pull the trigger.
