Sounds like your BIOS is trying to tell you something....

Couldn't find anything specific on the E1505, so this was all I could come up with....

    Phoenix Beep Codes

Sounds like a call/chat to tech support may be in order

ps In chatting with Dell they seem to think the BIOS info on my link is NOT applicable to E1505. Just so you know....

If nothing wrong with your computer and the sound sometimes happen when you do some programs.
    Just check at:
Control panel/Sound and Audio devices/ sound and from here you can disable any sound you doubt with set up NONE.

Even I had the same problem (I don't know if the Dell geniuses deliberately put the beep or its a bug) but anyway here's how to disable it

    http://www.tek-tips.com/viewthread.cfm?qid=1262838&page=7

    You can disable the beep:

Go to Device Manager and "Show Hidden Devices". Under "Non-Plug and Play Drivers" you'll see an item named "Beep". Disable that and the "random beep" disappears.

Let me know if it works

If you are getting beeps from your mobo you really should look into it as they are typically BIOS error codes as MarkMcK said.
