the only thing i dont like is the graphics card, but i dont play video games that much.
(oh yea the total charges has tax and shipping included) -
What will you be using your laptop for?
-
Are you sure that you want integrated graphics? Even if you are not going to play some games, a dedicated graphics card is always better than Intel GMA. Everything else looks good.

mostly for school, im a computer science major, i need to be able to run IDE's which usually run pretty slow, so basically for programming...using the internet of course, maybe watch some divx movies....i dont know i just need a new laptop cause my old one is so slow... when i run a webcam conference on it, the computer freezes (thats when nothing else is being run on the computer)..its ridiculous

i think this is the best possible deal for a dell 1420, tell me if im wrong....i looked at a thread with 30 different configurations, and none of them had it decked out as much as mine! muhahahaahahahaha
-
the graphics card is worrying me though, will i be able to watch HD that well??
i never play video games, i havent since i was 15....dont know what else i'd use it for.. -
the system look more than adequate for your needs
and for that price its quite good im sure you wouldnt need dedicated graphics if you dont game
on the plus side it would increase your battery life a notch too
is this a good dell for a dell inspiron 1420?
