I am looking to buy a dell e1505 with following config at 1644$ is this a good price or should i wait for a better deal

Price is a bit high. For $1644 you should also get the WSXGA+ (1680 x 1050) screen and the 8 cell battery. Hard drive a bit small as well. Get no less than the 120 GB. I would wait a few days...reconfigure with all high end elements and price should be less. Your price with all high end including what I listed should either stay the same or drop a bit.
